Time:

Wednesday - 1:00 PM (Tower C)

Abstract:

This session will explore the tremendous economic and social impact opportunity in unlocking last-mile payments innovation in both the private and public sectors. We will cover use cases such as G2P/P2G payments, financial inclusion, merchant payments, and cross-border remittances. Attendees will gain practical insights into the components of an open-source payment orchestration engine, and learn how to design, integrate, and scale solutions using configurable workflows and extensible connectors across multiple digital payment rails.

Real-world case studies from Mifos ecosystem members across Brazil, Mexico, India, Kenya, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe will showcase how open-source engines like PH-EE can lower software development costs, accelerate time to market, and enable innovative payment solutions. We will also delve into how generative AI and real-time fraud detection can be leveraged in the payments landscape.
