Roadblock Title:

Building identity foundations for an agentic future

Time:

Wednesday - 1:00 PM (Tower B)

Abstract:

As applications prepare for an agentic future that’s already here, machine identities and authentication flows are as important to consider as human identities are. The AI and API world moves fast, and it’s incumbent upon application developers to build identity foundations and adhere to standards now rather than reactively patch their infra when it’s too late.

In this session, Anvi Banga, Developer Relations at Descope, will share:

  • Which identity protocols are driving machine-to-machine authentication
  • How to use techniques and protocols like MCP and OAuth to enable secure, user-friendly, and machine-friendly authentication and identity management
  • Actionable tips to make your tools compatible with OAuth, and to make your AI agents seamlessly connect with other tools with secure, scoped, and consented access
